The UM Center for Global Health is home to a two-year learning grant, with partners at: Ghana Ministry of Health, University of Ghana, and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. This Ghana-Michigan collaboration will design an evidence-based roadmap for academic-government collaboration to strengthen human resources for health in Ghana. This partnership has four main objectives: strengthen human resource information systems, enhance health professional and research training, and improve capacity to evaluate the impact of human resource policies, and increase retention and satisfaction of health workers throughout the country.
